Hello

​I have had a very diverse professional and personal journey so far. I completed my undergraduate degree in Tourism and Hotel Administration in Lithuania in 2015, followed by a diploma in Supply Chain Management in 2021. During my final year of college, I worked as an event manager, mainly organising weddings and rural tourism tours. After graduating, I had the chance to work in hotels in both Greece and Norway, which gave me hands-on experience in international hospitality.

I spent two years living in Norway, and that’s where I first heard about a volunteering organisation that partnered with NGOs in India and several African countries. The idea immediately appealed to me — a chance to experience different cultures up close while doing something meaningful. After a year of training, I spent six months in India working on a Community Development project, which turned out to be one of the most formative experiences of my life.

For the past five years, I’ve been working at University College Dublin in two very different roles. My first position was with UCD Estates Services in the Space and Energy Management team. I now work with the UCD School of Medicine in the Radiography department as a Clinical Site Coordinator, a role that allows me to support students and collaborate with clinical sites across Ireland.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active. Cycling and football have always been part of my routine, and more recently I’ve taken up golf — a humbling but entertaining challenge. I also volunteer as a puppy raiser with Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, which has been both rewarding and eye-opening.
